The content of the Course is built upon the prayer that was given by Christ. Volume II comprises further meditative work on the organic overview that has been given in Volume I.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf a person decides to undertake self-development through a training and education of his soul-forces, the most comprehensive path is the one indicated in the New Testament in the St. Matthew’s Gospel (Mt 5, 1-12).  Christ’s Sermon on the Mount is an enhancement of the working through of the nine bodily sheaths – as developed phenomenologically and presented by Rudolf Steiner in his book “Theosophy” (GA 9). The Sermon on the Mount contains concrete indications as to the forming of the human being’s bodily sheaths. And this deepening on the level of content is followed by Tomberg, whereby he places the work under the heading of the 1st Petition of the Lord’s Prayer “Hallowed be thy name”, and proposes that in the course of concentrated meditative activity a whole week should be devoted to each individual Beatitude.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAdditionally, Volume II contains the finding and deepening of the experience oft he Passions of Christ as a meditative work on the second petition „Thy kingdom come“.
